The Smith Chart is used to display an actual (physical) antenna's impedance when measured on a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA). Smith Charts are also extremely helpful for impedance matching, as we will see. Its simply a case of copy/pasting them into/out from the code editor of the CK. Lumped element and transmission line impedance matching would be challenging to understand without Smith Charts. Ladder network, elements are loaded using drag drop method. Smith Charts can be used to increase understanding of transmission lines and how they behave from an impedance viewpoint. RE: Smith Chart program (06-10-2017 11:21 AM) grsbanks Wrote: HP Prime code files can be edited with any text editor. Smith Chart is a handy tool that we use to visualize impedances and reflection coefficients. Some of the features offered by the program are: Being online also means that the latest version is always available. Access is free, and design files can be saved and reloaded rather than losing work once website is left. Nathan has released a Web-based version of QuickSmith on a GitHub server, which means it works on any platform with a browser - desktop or mobile (some features are not accessible on mobile). It is a Smith Chart based linear circuit simulation program that can be used via a website. One of the most feature-filled examples of RF design software available today is QuickSmith by Nathan Iyer.
